The name of the company, Axioma Solutions, LLC is derived from the Latin form of the word axiom, meaning universally accepted truth.
Axioma Solutions is formed as a Limited Liability Company (LLC) concentrating on the area of computer-aided engineering (CAE) of thermal-fluid components and systems. Axioma Solutions specializes in the applications of 3D computational fluid dynamics (CFD), finite element analysis (FEA), as well as 1D and system simulation and optimization. Axioma Solutions, LLC focuses on providing services to all types of industries where energy, thermo, and fluid are involved.
The founders of Axioma Solutions are professional engineers with advanced (post-graduate) degrees, including PhDs and Master's in mechanical/aerospace engineering from leading universities. Numerous engineering papers written by the owners have been published in internationally-renowned, peer-reviewed, archival journals as well as conference proceedings. In addition to the excellent academic track records, the Axioma team has over fifty years of experience in engineering and research in the fields of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, combustion, turbulence, controls, and design.
In particular, the owners posses expertise in numerical analysis of many engineering applications including, but not limited to, automotive powertrain, combustion and emissions, cooling systems, fuel systems, air systems, engine performance and controls, gas-turbine propulsion, aeronautics, and external aerodynamics. All five owners have played pivotal roles in engine designs leading to products that enjoy tremendous commercial success.
In addition to CFD and 1D simulation tools, Axioma partners with a renowned finite-element analysis (FEA) consulting firm, Design Analysis Services (DAS), to provide comprehensive engineering design solutions.
Besides the achievements in academia and the automotive industry, two of the owners have also served as professional consultants during their career, and one has been selected to serve as a committee member of the prestigious Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). Furthermore, one of the owners was the technical manager of an analysis group at a major engine OEM for years.
Together, the five individual owners not only bring expertise in engineering and design, but also vision to the industry and global economy.
